THE ORIGINAL P5 SURFBOARD

The Aku Wakesurfer was the first surf style board introduced by Phase Five. This is a fast, rail to rail, air boosting machine. The Phase Five Aku features a diamond bumped wing tail for optimum pivot and pop. It harnesses a nicely pulled in nose that enables aggressive carving on the wave without nose diving. The Aku is glassed with our high end FLEXtec V2 system for unmatched strength and durability. It is built with FCS Fusion fin plugs in a twin fin configuration for an optimal blend of maneuverability and drive.

Find my wakesurf size

Wakesurfers are sized on rider weight and on how you want to ride. More volume and length float a heavier rider and make the wave easier to catch; shorter boards are looser and better for spins and airs.

Skim-style boards run shorter than surf-style at the same rider weight. If you are new to surfing behind the boat, go longer — catching the wave is the hard part.
